What’s Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is a massive two-day shopping event held exclusively for Prime members. During this time you’ll find deep discounts on products across all categories, including some of the lowest prices of the year (outside of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, that is).
Prime Day versus Prime Big Deal Days
Previously, Prime Day ran exclusively in the summer, but last year on October 11 and 12, Amazon added a second event called the Prime Early Access Sale. This year, Amazon is calling its fall sale “Prime Big Deal Days,” but it’s informally known as “Second Prime Day” or “Prime Day Part Two.”
What’s on sale this Prime Day?
With the holidays around the corner, Prime Day has discounts on a ton of great Amazon gift ideas. There are fitness deals for NordicTrack treadmills and Hoka sneakers; tech deals on gadgets like Apple Watches, Sony QLED TVs, Bluetooth speakers, and Samsung Galaxy phones; kitchen and home deals, including Casper mattresses, iRobot Roomba robot vacuums, KitchenAids, Vitamix blenders, and Keurig coffee makers; and beauty and skin-care deals on Crest Whitestrips, Sunday Riley Good Genes serum, and the NuFace Mini.
